Sewing Holiday Gifts? Add One of These Labels
NYC blogger and Garment District shopper Beau Baby posted yesterday about these labels from Sublime Stitching. What a great way to roust an appropriate level of appreciation for our crafty efforts.
I need this for everything that's currently sitting unfinished on my craft table. And a couple projects that are shoved in the box under the table. And a few things that are in planning stages but not yet started.
These are great. Question - do you know a great tailor in our hood, not too $$ but reliable? I've got a vintage winter coat with a tear in the armpit area, same with a very soft leather sample designer leather. Maybe I'm holding my arms improperly?!
Tricia, try Mimi Jackson of I Love My Dressmaker and Find a Dressmaker. mimi@mimijackson.com. Tell her I sent you. She may be able to help you or at least point you in the direction of a reliable tailor. Good luck! Let me know if you find someone you like.—Meg
