It's Italy vs France at Elliott Berman Textiles

Eugenia at Elliott Berman Textiles recently invited me to see all the new fabrics just in from Italy and France. Head over to EBT in the Garment District on W. 35th Street before these eye-catching fabrics are scooped up. I oohed and aahed over all the bold designs and prints Eugenia showed me. We both agreed that this season the Italian fabrics have it all over the French in terms of vibrancy and imagery. Below are just a few of the prints available at EBT's showroom:

Eugenia wants you to know they still have Missoni knits. If you are planning a trip to EBT I recommend you call first to let them know what time you'll be there: (212) 764-0180.

  1. Oh gosh, I've been trying my hardest to stay away because I knew they were going to have some lovelies...but I just might have to break down and venture over!

  3. Thank you for this blog. I was in NYC this past week for a few days while the hubby was at work and had a great time fabric shopping. We visited a few restaurants on the list and enjoyed them. Spent too much $$ at Mood lol!

  4. I went over yesterday and had the most wonderful time there! I only spent time in the 2 aisles with the cotton and viscose prints, but already it was a lot for me to process. I loved everything I saw so it took me a long time to narrow it down to 3 fabrics. While I was there, a client came in to pick up 2 rolls of fabric and to order more fabric for her "summer/fall transition collection." After Eugenia was done helping that client, she came over and helped me with just as much friendliness and sincerity. You've already mentioned how nice she is in your review, but Eugenia's easy-going and welcoming manner went so far beyond what I imagined. I am honestly humbled by how generous she was with her time and advice for someone like me, who is obviously a mere dabbler. We chatted for a little bit and her passion for fabric and fashion really shone through. I am so grateful to have this amazing establishment available to me!
